Artist's Statement:

I make paper sculptures using the ancient tradition of Quilling. The natural world inspires me. I express the peaceful life of nature in my work. I combine my interest of running and hiking in the woods with art by observation of the areas that I run and hike in looking for birds, animals, fowers, trees, vines, plants and their placement in the environment. I bring this information back to my studio to create the works.
